Happy New Year!
Heyyyyyyy! Ya well its Wednesday and not monday but let me explain. We had interviews with President
(all of our Zone) on Monday, and then we asked to change to Wednesday the P day! Today, being 31st, we have
the night free too and so the whole day today is free! This never happens in the mission its gonna be weird. But
here we are. And the Skype was too short and a little slow but thats okay. It was awesome to see you guys. We
had the mission activity Tuesday and every missionary (minus the 4 in the islands) was there. Elder Zeballos from
the Area Presidency and his wife talked to us and we walked the Christmas devocional. It was a really fun day.
Then Christmas Eve, we visited members in the ward and ate dinner with investigatores! It was awesome, and
here they open gifts at midnight so we did the same and played like little kids for a while with nerf guns ahah
thanks for that!! And then we had skype thursday!
We are teaching a old man (89 years old) that has pretty good health for his age, but has a wound on his leg and
cant walk really good. We gave him a blessing for his health and he had so much faith that he was going to be
healed so he could go to church. I literally felt his faith. I never understood how Christ could ``feel and see´´ the faith
but i understand now. And he went to church! Alone, walking slowly with his cane, he came. He is amazing.
We are teaching Gilson´s friends that are visiting from Brasil. The mom was baptised the same day as Gilson and
the daughter wants to get baptised! But, they know very little spanish. Sooooo we are learning portuguese!! Elo
no fallo muito portugese hahah but its all good. It is so fun.
We are helping a youth in the ward that was less active for a few months. She is struggling with so many things,
including major sins. She doesnt feel capable to pray and basically feels worthless. Satan wants us to feel this way.
This way, we get further and further from God. Take the sin away as soon as possible. Let the Light of Christ take
away the darkness. God does not make us feel worthless or sad or any negative feeling. God only wants the best
for us. Do not let Satan make you feel like this. There is a way to escape. Accept the Lord as your Savior and use
His Atonement. Use it every day, every hour. We are never done progressing.
I love all of you, Skype was awesome, but back to work. Keep up the work wherever you may be.
