HOLA FAMILIA! Well I just read that we beat Snow Canyon and im stoked!! Congrats boys keep it up! And thats
sweet that TJ is playing rugby and liking it! Congrats amigito!! BTW mom i got the pretzels in that package and they
were perfect. It was so awesome because i got to share with Hermana Irma and her family and Elder Pinilla and
they have never had pretzels let alone chocolate carmel pretzels made by mama Farns. I didnt get anything else
since then (that was a while ago but it feels like it was yesterday!). Sweet about Malik and Jamis, love those guys.
Cant wait to see them when they are in the mish and im home haha thats so far from now though! Wow crazy week
like normal mom! haha
This week, we taught our elderly friend and he doesnt know how to read but he asked us if we can teach him to
read so that he can read the Book of Mormon and know more! He said he wants to read the Book of Mormon and
get baptised before he dies! We are going to have Sisters in the ward help him learn!! He prayed in the lesson for
help with all of that! It was so awesome. He knows its true. Also, we taught the family that we have been teaching
for a long time and the wife said she was thinking about Baptism this week and that it would be really nice, but she
said ``dont presure me, im stubborn´haha but thats ok! Its progress. We talked about Alma 32 and faith like a seed.
We visited a less active man (7 years out of the church) and he said hes ready to come back! He came to church
and he is excited to get back to everything!! This is the success that i have been able to see in my mission, helping
men with the priesthood come back to the church. And I am thrilled with this success because strong priesthood
holders can be leaders that will bring more people back to the fold.
This week we had a surprise intercambio with our District Leader. He called during studies and said that at like
10:30, we needed to be at his house (less than 2 hours from that time). It was interesting but in the end, it was really
good. I went there to his sector with him. I dont know why he wanted to have one because we had one like 3 weeks
ago and there are other missionaries that have asked for intercambio and help because they are struggling a lot
more than us. But i learned a lot with him. Im really grateful for it! I know we can always learn more especially if we
are humble. Plus, it was fun! It was a good week with good experience. Im learning soo much from the Book of
Mormon as i am really studying it. I finished it 2 other times in my mission but this time means so much. I invite you
guys now not to read by chapter, but by time. Decide your time, and read and study. Doesnt matter if you advance
one verse. I read like 10 verses in an hour sometimes. Its amazing this Book and i love it. I know its true.
I love all of you, thanks for always writing. Sorry if i dont write back or anything. Really busy here! Love you all.!
