Hola familia!
Hahaha ok story time with Bro Elgrenn. So we have a meeting with the ward mission leader every saturday morning
in the church. We live close to the church, and we didnt have the form/sheet to fill out our info for the week. So we
went to the church to print one out and fill it out. BUT, with this form, you need to make copies of it. and there is a
corner store close to our house that makes photo copies. So we were walking there and my companion said
basically, how funny would it be if your friend is dropping the package off right now with Oliva Family (they live on
the street right there), and so when we got to the store at the corner, we looked down the street but we just saw a
big black van and that it was weird but we didnt think it was Brother Elgrenn. So we enter the store and are getting
our photo copies and two people come and speak to me in english and said that Brother Elgrenn is there and
dropped the thing off and they said that they knew that i couldnt see him because im on my mission. But i said
that it doesnt matter and right them he came around the corner! haha I didnt know what to say because it was so
strange and i forgot english! hahaha but it was fun and soo cool to get homemade cookies from mom fresh! Ya so
thats the story basically. Thanks Bro Elgrenn and mom! oh my comp loves his scripture marker pencil btw!
Well this week we were basically ward secretaries haha cause my comp is still not feeling good. (actually we are
about to go to the doctor so we are close to the temple!) But we were in the church a lot and we are preparing a lot
of things for a Sector Attack that we are going to have in a week or so. We were cleaning some of the things messed
up on the ward list (there is a ton of problems and 1800 people). I dont know what the other really ward secretaries
were thinking and there was a lot of stuff to change haha. But pretty boring week. really boring actually but thats ok.
At least the package from home made the week interesting. Well this week in church, there werent that many
people. Actually the lowest attendence since the first week i got here. But we are going to suppose that everyone
are taking their last summer vacay haha and the next weeks we will have a ton of people. Finally i can send pictures
in this internet cafe but i still dont really have anything. Here Jaime who we helped come back to church after 7
years inactive and now hes elders quorum secretary! Going to get his endowment in a few more months! And there
is another man that is come back but he just needs to get married...This is the biggest problem here. But oh well,
we will help with all the marriages that we need too.
Love you guys sorry not very aventful the letter! Thanks for everything!!

and this is Chris' story from his side: Thanks Chris!!!
Funny little story. I was sharing a taxi with a few of my cohort and they thought this errand was awesome. Taxi
driver found the house but it doesn't have a door bell or anything and a locked gate with a dog wandering around
behind. No one came to the gate even after we banged and the taxi driver yelled. So we decided to slip the
package through the fence to where we hoped the dog would not get it. Just as we dropped the bag, two Elders
came around the corner and stopped cold and tried to slip back around the corner. I told my two travel companions
to walk down and let him know where the package was. I had no intention of seeing him at this point just because
I know we didn't have permission. As my two friends were talking to Elder Farnsworth the taxi driver decided we
need to be down there too. So he drove me down to the corner store where Elder Farnsworth was hiding. No choice
now so I jump out and gave home a big hug or you both, got the picture for you. Asked how he was doing. He says
he's doing well and "forgetting English". Though we was buying some pretty unhealthy snacks. :-) He looks good
and healthy, mom and dad! I kept it very brief and we loaded up and left. Though it was far from my intention, it
was Great to see him.
