Hola familia como estamos?
Well about Paola and her mom, they havent gone to church yet here,,,the boyfriend of the mom is kinda against
the church i guess and he always wants to go places on sunday. the mom is less active but says she wants to
. But still she is super prepared and gonna get baptised so fast in brazil probably! To answer the question, yes
we had intercambios or exchanges i believe they are called in english. But ill tell more about this in a second.
Tuesday we had a activity with the other 2 missionaries in the ward and like 35 people went! It was sweet. It was
about the Atonement. We taught a little bit and then the other 2 missionaries did an activity that im sure most of you
are familiar with. They had candy and Elder Swan offered a piece of candy to every person there, one by one. But
his companion Elder Brady had to do 5 push up for every candy. About the 5th person refused the candy, and he
still had to do the push ups. The people started to yell at Elder Swan and say it wasnt fair. One person offered to
do it themself. Elder Brady really started to struggle but he never stopped or complained. The Savior did the same.
He paid our debt, even if we dont want it or accept it. We cant do it ourselves, but he willingly did it without
stopping or complaining. Let us accept this gift. The atonement is really and repentance is too. We can change our
life style and make us better people. A cool talk that dad showed me is His Grace is Sufficient by Brad Wilcox.
 Read it!
Wednesday we had Zone Conference and they challenged us to read the Book of Mormon in 5 months before
May 31st. I challenge you guys to do it with us! Sorry you are a week and a half behind but you can do it! We also
got to watch Meet the Mormons in Spanish in Zone Conference!!! It was sweet. We are gonna get a copy soon i
think. Oh other thing, i got letters from August this week.....they got lost or something so ya..it was a little dumb
 but oh well..
Thursday i think, we had a exchange or whatever that thing is called and i went to other Sector with my Zone
Leader and Elder Lund came to our sector. He was with elder Sovero before i came so he got to see people that
he already knew. It was really fun to go to other area. We taught a crazy guy that said i was from France and that
he wanted to get baptised but only if there was soap to clean him. Guess he didnt get the whole ´´spiritually clean´´
part. Oh well.
The family of our Bishop is going to move soon and they released him Sunday. The new Bishop was the Bishop of
the other ward, but they joined the wards. It would be like Pleasant 1 ward and 2 ward got put together. That
happened like 9 months ago and now he is bishop again!
We went to visit some Less active men in the ward and we talked with 2 that are really awesome and have strong
testimonies. One was a missionary and the other had a lot of callings in the church. I testify to you all that there are
people just waiting for a friend. There are people wanting to come back and they are just waiting for the Bishop or
the Elders quorum president or even a deacon to pass by and help. Be their friends. We are children of the same
Heavenly Father. Reach out a hand to some one that might be a little lost and just needs a friend. I love each
person i meet here, and it helps me love the people more at home. Every thing i do here, i hope people are doing
in Pleasant 2nd ward and all around the world. Its a ward family. Let us magnify our callings and responsibilties as
 members or Christs church.
I love you guys and miss you, keep up the good work!
Elder Farnsworth
