Hola familia!! Wow so thanksgiving didnt pass? We were super bummed this
Thursday cause i was super hungry and i was thinkning about you guys fuller
than the turkey you had just finished eating. But its this week? What the heck,
Ammon gave his farewell talk? How is it already almost December? There are
Christmas decorations here in the super market!!! Whatttt...! And no, Gilson told
me that you said a friend from Peru was coming about i dont have anyone in Peru,
only my comp!! Haha no i didnt meet anyone..
The topic of light is really interesting! We are all born with the light of Christ. But
because of the live and choices we make, we gain or lose more light. Christ is a
light because of His example and infinite atonement. His grace is literally our only
light or esperanza. oh i mean hope..i think haha theres some words i dont even
remember in english. But Thats awesome, keep studying that!!
This week we were eating lunch and the Bishop was actually home with his car
which isnt normal. We got a phone call from an investigator and she asked if we
could watch her kids cause she was like deathly ill and needed to go to the
hospital. Luckily, Bishop was there and we went with his car and took her to the
hospital. Right as we left from her house, a neighboor passed by and offered to
watch the kids. It was amazing the service that other people freely offered and
the perfect situation that God provided. She is much better now, but I am so
grateful that God helped us with Bishop being home and having a car and a
neighboor passing by.
Something i have been thinking about a lot this week is goals. Goals were
something i always hated in school. The teachers seemed to just do it to give
us work. But really we need goals in our life. We will never change or get better
without goals. I hope each one of us have goals for our live and our spirituality too.
This week, set goals if you dont already have some!! But set goals that are
according to the will of God. Humble yourselves, and ask Him what He wants you
to do. And do it. There will always be a way to do it.
I love you guys! Hope all is well in the family and the ward too!!
